🏆✨ Excellent results from our juniors at the Swiss Individual Championship for the U8 Category (Under 8 years old)! ✨🏆
Our delegation, consisting of 9 juniors from our club, participated in the Swiss Individual Championship for the U8 category held in Liestal last weekend. We are thrilled to share the outstanding results achieved by our young talents.

Loïc brilliantly secured the 3rd place, showcasing his exceptional skills. Right behind, Henri claimed the 4th place, also illustrating his talent and dedication. Augustin delivered a strong performance, securing the 18th position, closely followed by Isaiah at the 20th place and Bora at the 21st place.
Additionally, two of our juniors, Louis and Isaac, managed to score 4 out of 7 points, securing the 31st and 44th places respectively out of a total of 111 participants.
Let’s also acknowledge the youngest members of our delegation, Daniel (3 points) and Theodor (1.5 points), who, at just 6 years old, demonstrated remarkable commitment despite their young age.
Congratulations to all our participants for their determination, strong spirit of the competition, and outstanding performances. A big thank you to coach Claudiu Prunescu, who guides and inspires this generation of young talents with dedication. These brilliant results reflect his commitment and passion for chess, and we look forward to seeing our juniors continue to excel in upcoming competitions under his inspiring leadership.
